As I said on the Discord channel, my writing is running late...

Paying it Forward part six is going to be the longest chapter yet and includes a dramatic scene that isn't coming together in a way that satisfies me. So, this Friday will see some filler.

Back in 2008, when I was doing the previous stories, I also made a lot of notes that didn’t turn into anything. One of them was seeing the Jenny Everywhere Twitter and wondering if that format could be used to tell a story. My original idea was going to be ‘a week in the life of Jenny Everywhere,’ as she went about her ordinary day to day activities… or normal for her, anyway. As it turned out I got through one day and decided that this wasn’t a format I really liked. The draft has been gathering cyber-dust ever since. I don’t think my default Jenny ever got this verbal on Twitter but continuity is rarely a problem for Jenny Everywhere stories.

I’m open to feedback on the best title for this. Sunday’s Tweets? Tweetstorm? Jenny Tweets Too Much?

Tweetstorm

Got home, fell into bed, got woke up by giant squid attacking city. Again! Headed for waterfront now; more later.

No problem! It turns out giant squid are vulnerable to road salt, just like the giant slugs last month. Suggested calamari festival.

Off to remote island laboratory to confront squid making mad scientist. Biplane very noisy. I just hope it’s the usual secret base.

Parachuted in. Nothing’s changed since Captain Iguanodon added the blimp hanger last year, so I’ll try the secret passage from last time.

Trouble! Pinned down in pit by witless minions! Mad scientist gloating. Doesn’t this guy ever shut up?

My bad. Dr. Shiokara reads my twitter feed! Dammit, doc, that's cheating! Okay, this may be a problem.

If anyone else is reading this, send help. Also a psychiatrist dealing with squid issues. I’m trapped in the pit to the north.

Snuck inside through sewer while Dr. Shiokara was monologging; he fell for the trick twitter. Geniuses flaky. Busy now; he noticed I’m gone.

Lab secure, and minions ran away as soon as the squid tank exploded, but Shiokara has escaped by rocket kite. I should’ve expected that.

The old runway is still covered in giant squid parts, so no biplane today. I’m following the trail left by the minions.

I’ve discovered a new resort on the other end of the island. I don’t care about the escaped minions any more. Whoo-hoo!

I‘m on the beach at the resort. I’ve got a cold drink, a new bikini, and a beach full of buff shirtless guys. Don’t wait up.
