Jenny Everywhere fan art!

scott_sanfordI've gotten fan art! I'm unreasonably tickled by this.
Aristide Twain, who's done a lot of Jenny Everywhere work himself, was inspired to depict some of the recurring supporting characters from my stories.
Here's Kim, looking quite sharp in black today. Click to embiggen these pictures; the thumbnails don't do them justice.
He based her appearance off of Ingrid Pitt, who portrayed Carmilla in The Vampire Lovers (1970). It works very well for her.
Professor Awesome is looking creative and adventurous here - he must be building things again. There is also a plain version without the caption.
I'd originally imagined him as a skinny pale white kid, a very stereotypical nerd. When asked about his hair color, I said brown and remarked that going purely by textual evidence there was no particular justification for any particular appearance or ethnicity. And I got this delightful picture. Apparently Professor Awesome is black now. Cool.
(26 May 2022) A few days later I realized that this page should also include the HeroForge miniature figure for the Jenny of Pratfall.
(16 Sept 2022) In the story Misunderstandings I tossed in brief reference to a book titled Understanding Teleportation that Jenny had been blowing off reading, which works as foreshadowing but was mostly just background detail; I'd happened to see a picture of an old Radio Shack book called Understanding Telephone Electronics and realized I could play with the title.
Then in September of 2022 I happened to look at the book cover image again and remembered I had a paint program. With a few minutes work I had changed the title and was feeling amused. I shared the altered cover on the Discord channel and they were amused too. Aristide Twain, who as you may have guessed by now has better software than the default Windows Paint program and more art practice than I do, went in and changed the whole cover blurb!

He also collected all three of these pieces together, as seen here on the left.
